Whakapapa Ski Area is home to New Zealand's highest restaurant (2020m) - Knoll Ridge Café.  In the summer you can take a scenic chairlift ride up Mt Ruapehu and dine at Knoll Ridge Cafe or enjoy hot food on a cold winters day when you are on a skiing adventure.
