About Us
Mountain Heights Lodge provides comfortable accommodation options including bed and breakfast and self contained motel units for travellers wishing to stay in the Mt Ruapehu and Tongariro region. The Lodge is situated adjacent to Tongariro and Wanganui National Parks and is an excellent location from which to explore the mountains and enjoy the many wonderful activities in the area. Mountain Heights Lodge is ideally situated for both Whakapapa and Turoa ski areas . The Lodge is about 20 mintues drive from Whakapapa and 45 minutes drive from Turoa.
Comfortable, quality bed and breakfast accommodation, including continental breakfast, is available in the lodge. B&B guests have access to a large lounge with log fire. . Fully equipped self contained motel units are located adjacent to the lodge and are perfect for families. A private hot spa is available to all guests. We are not pet friendly. Children of all ages are welcome in the motel units no children in the BnB rooms in the main Lodge.
