Mountain Heights Lodge is situated adjacent to Tongariro and Wanganui National Parks. An excellent location from which to explore the mountains and enjoy the many wonderful activities in the area. Mountain Heights Lodge is ideally situated for both Whakapapa and Turoa ski area. Comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in the lodge. Large lounge with log fire. Wonderful breakfasts,fresh coffee and home baking. Fully equipped self contained units adjacent to the lodge. Ideally situated for the TONGARIRO CROSSING. We will arrange transport for you,a guide if necessary and advise you on all aspects of the walk.
	Located half way between Auckland and Wellington, in the North Island, we are an ideal place to stop and explore Tongariro National park, New Zealand's first national park, famous for its many beautiful walks, bike rides and snowsports.

Transport to activities can be arranged. National Park Village is accessible on a daily basis by rail and road. Mountain Air operate daily flights between Auckland and National Park Village.
